The MidAtlantic Book Publishers Association (MBPA) is a professional trade association with the mission of helping independent publishers become more profitable and successful by learning how to produce quality books, promote them effectively, and navigate the rapidly changing book publishing industry.

As a regional affiliate of the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA), we serve independent and self-publishers, as well as authors considering becoming independent publishers, in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, DC.
