Book Sales:

What's Working, What's Not

& Getting the Most Out of the Holiday Gift Season

MBPA Member MegaMind programs are online versions of the popular informal networking breaks we offer at our in-person member meetings. Use them to get to know fellow members, announce new titles, new marketing efforts, new authors, and to share what's working for you with any promotional efforts to the trade, to schools and libraries, or direct to consumers. This is YOUR time, and it's FREE to attend as long as you're a member in good standing (your dues are paid up).

During this last MegaMind of the year, we'll reflect on our selling strategies and promotional efforts and evaluate what worked, what didn't, and share ideas for getting the most out of the holiday gift season.

For every small publisher, the holiday gift-buying season is one that can make or break the year's bottom line, so anything you can share or learn will be appreciated by your fellow members…and you!

And of course, as with every Member MegaMind, feel free to wander away from the main topic to ask questions or inject comments on any other subject on your indie publisher's mind that you think will be of interest to your fellow members. Publishing industry news and commentary? Some specific challenge you've encountered and want to seek advice? That's what we're all about during MBPA Member MegaMinds!

This meeting will be held online through GoToMeeting and instructions will be sent to you for how to participate once you've signed up.

This event is free of charge and open to members only, but you must be registered to receive instructions for attending, so sign up as soon as registration opens!
